I’ve Met Jesus

Just got home from the Extreme gig in Leeds.  Hot Leg were the support and they rocked!!  For those of you who don’t know, Hot Leg are Justin Hawkins new band.  I blogged about the track “I’ve Met Jesus” about a year and a half ago.  However, it disapeared pretty quick smart.  Now we are reliably informed (well, enthusiastically from the stage – does that count as “reliably”?) that it is to be a Christmas Single!

Bring it on.  Great tune and a song I can empathise with!!

Hot Leg Support Extreme

I know this doesn’t really have anything to do with anything but I just found out that Hot Leg are supporting Extreme.   I already have a ticket to see Extreme!  I went o see Hot Leg a couple of weeks ago and they were brilliant!  Here’s a photo of Justin Hawkins strutting his funky stuff that night!

Notice the crazy mans tatoo of the logo for a DX 7 keyboard.  Now that’s commitment!!

Rock on!!

Lunch time yesterday I received a phone call from our drummer.  The New Roscoe had got in contacts and were asking “tonights band have left us in the lurch, would you play”.  Needless to say we rocked hard 😀

In fact, I was so wired after the gig that when Adam said “I’ll pick you up at five tomorrow” my response was “why?”.  I had totally forgotten that tonight we are going on a band outing to see Whitesnake and Def Leppard!  Top banana!! Does it get any better than this?
