This is from the Metro newspaper 60 second interview with Speech DeBelle on September the 8th. What do you think?
To me, Michael Jackson’s story of his life is very similar to the story of Jesus. This young guy who, from when he was very young, showed signs of being exceptional. Jesus went around preaching the gospel and touching people and.. making lepers better. Michael Jackson’s gone around the world and done that – he might not have literally touched someone and made them see but, apparently, I don’t know if this is true, there were kids around him that had cancer that don’t have cancer any more.
This film has a strange beginning but keep going. It is all about that entrepreneur we harbour inside but expressed through our art. I haven’t seen anything so affirmatory in a loooooooong time!
Apologies to anyone who isn’t from the UK or anyone who doesn’t watch soap operas. I just watched Jack Sugden’s funeral in Emmerdale. They ended with John Lennon singing “Imagine there’s no heaven….”
We decided to leave the packing and go to the cinema. Tropic Thunder wasn’t as good as I hoped but it was worth it just for the fake trailer to Satan’s Alley!
I know this doesn’t really have anything to do with anything but I just found out that Hot Leg are supporting Extreme. I already have a ticket to see Extreme! I went o see Hot Leg a couple of weeks ago and they were brilliant! Here’s a photo of Justin Hawkins strutting his funky stuff that night!
Notice the crazy mans tatoo of the logo for a DX 7 keyboard. Now that’s commitment!!
I went to see The Dark Knight on Monday and it was really good. Heath Ledger’s performance was amazing – this is what a truly psychotic mad man is supposed to be like!! I highly recommend going to see it for that alone. I also loved the messianic under/overtones.
My only criticism is that since the batman films had to abandon the comic book world perpetuated cinematically by Tim Burton and enter the real world, the costume doesn’t quite fit. That said, Batman without the costume is just ‘Man’.
