I am a young(ish) Christian bloke who is interested in the Emerging Church and Alternative Worship. I have been involved in many different types of worship over the years in different capacities. By day I am a curate in the Church of England and by night I am a myriad of different things. I went through ministerial selection process in the first year that they allowed people to train as ordained pioneer ministers (OPM’s) but feel called to be an ordained pioneer parish priest
This blog is intended to bringing ideas for different things to do in church, bits of theology and occasional humour to the world. If you want to twitter me it is here. I have an interest in photography in spite of a distinct lack of talent. I will occasionally blog a photo I have taken if I think it is either useful for a service or… just because I like it. My flickr account is here. I also sell prints through redbubble.
This blog tweets over here.
I like using my hands and have rebuilt a variety of Mini’s and Motorbikes. I currently ride a Harley Davidson Dyna Lowrider and a Chopped ’66 Triumph. My wife and I try to tour around on them as much as possible. Last year we did the Outer Hebrides – it is stunning! If you are into that sort of thing can I suggest Chopperbuilder as a good place to start.
I used to play in an 8 piece Soul Band called Soul Ascendant. I now play with a cheese rock outfit called Silverthorn. Their blog is here. You can also find us on Myspace.
The views represented in my blog are mostly just conjecture and don’t represent the official views of the Church of England/CofE. Often it is ponderance. Occasionally it is badly thought out and sometimes people may think it is heresy. That’s OK as it is a conversation and I would value your input to that process. This is not the last word on any topic, it is a word on it. If anything is considered offensive, let me know and I will consider removing it.

you need to redirect the link to the silverthorn blog, it’s pointing to the old one!

Hello, thank you for being so nice about Jesus on the Tube. It is on exhibition in Germany at the moment, it is off on its travels doing its own thing.
Best wishes, Antonia Rolls
Not a problem. It is one of the more inspiring images of Jesus I have ever seen! I love your work. I first saw it in a pack of RE resources and it really speaks volume about the history of our faith and the modern situation we live in. Thank you.
Hi Robb – good to find another Emerging Church aficionado. Some reading ideas for you if you like — though I guess you’ve probably read most of ‘em already…

Thanks, always good to meet someone who is interested in the emerging church.
